Speed-Agility-Quickness (SAQ)

Speed and agility are essential elements for success in all sports! The Speed-Agility–Quickness (SAQ) Camp will enhance speed and agility for middle and high school athletes, through expert coaching, in a fun and exciting environment. The purpose of SAQ is to provide quality individual instruction in the techniques and training that are necessary for young athletes to reach their full potential. Throughout this camp, athletes can expect to focus on bilateral and unilateral movement, injury prevention, and explosiveness exercises to help improve movement skills, balance, efficiency, strength, coordination, and speed. The camp is designed to emphasize movement, function, and technique to help young athletes maximize motor skill development, establish desirable movement patterns, and gain that competitive edge in their respective sport.

SAQ Format:

Each daily 1-hour session includes technique instruction for speed and agility enhancement, with fun challenges and performance tests. Each camp session lasts 1 hour and includes a full warm-up, event instruction, and a cool-down. Instruction includes fundamentals and technique instruction with fun-filled challenges. There also will be progressive drills and exercises each week.
